Throughout my entire life, I have been creative. Some activities I still pursue, others I don’t – as I go through the adventure that is life, my creative outlet changes with me.

I have been sewing, quilting and knitting for decades, I do cross-stitch and rug-braiding, and I have done my own picture-framing and matting. I’ve tried my hand at pottery, painting on silk, and photography. I recently started weaving seed beads into original designs on a beautiful wooden loom. I am also a singer in a women’s choir and was an active member of an amateur drama group for many years.

I was born in Germany and lived there until 1998 when I immigrated to the United States. I settled in Minnesota – I find the creative athmosphere of Minneapolis/St. Paul very inspiring (and the long winters can nicely be used for all kinds of indoor, creative activities).

I started making beaded jewelry in 2001. I attend a select few art fairs per year to sell my art. I started the online store on this web site in 2004. Two years ago, I started experimenting with firing glass in a kiln. The outcome was amazing - I haven't looked back since. My glass creations are mostly sold as pendants, earrings and rings, some also being incorporated with other beads.

Every piece I create is a unique design. I never make the same thing twice – this is my guarantee to you. I use numerous kinds of material, such as Czech glass, German vintage glass, horn, bone, trade and seed beads. These pieces are complemented with metal findings, such as clasps, spacers, earwires, etc.

Some of my designs consist of semi-precious stones like rose quartz, jasper or hematite, to name a few. Some jewelry is made of sterling silver findings. Every piece in the online store is described in detail, but if you have questions, please feel free to contact me at .
